The nopal is a plant very similar to a cactus usually grows in arid areas, but nowadays its really easy to find it anywhere at a local supermarket.

Here in Mexico, we eat that plant because is rich in fiber and amino acids, Its one of the most nutritive foods that we have, it's easy to cook or can be eaten raw in salads.

It has a sticky liquid in it just like the aloe vera plant, that liquid is the most important part of the plant as is the one that contains all the nutrients and is the one used for beauty purposes.

now that we are familiar with this plant lest talk about its benefits,  starting with the beauty ones after all this is a beauty blog right?
